Won in open competition. A reading and exhibition pavilion for the western edge of the park, held one step above the flood line and open on three sides.

The roof is a single in-situ slab, coffered to take daylight deep into the plan without glare. Everything below it is demountable — the pavilion can be emptied in a day and returned to the park.
