A practice built around measurement, restraint and staying to the end.

Fourteen people in two cities. We take on a small number of projects each year and stay with each one from the first site visit to the last snag.

Measure first

We spend longer on survey than most practices think is reasonable. Every later decision gets cheaper because of it.

[ 02 ]

Build less

The strongest move on most sites is subtraction. We try to earn every element that stays in the drawing.

[ 03 ]

Stay to the end

The same people who draw the building are on site when it is built. Detail does not survive a handover.
